From boardrooms to coffee farms, Dafne Morales is proving that people-first leadership and long-term impact can grow side by side.

For Dafne Morales, leadership has never been a single-lane career. It is a philosophy—one that connects people, purpose, and performance across industries, cultures, and continents.

As the founder and CEO of Boreal Business Group, Morales leads a rare dual model: a consulting firm shaping modern leadership frameworks globally, and a sustainable specialty coffee venture rooted in land stewardship and women’s legacy.

Founded in 2021, Boreal Business Group operates across Colombia, Guatemala, and France, with Morales herself moving fluidly between Paris, Latin America, and global client ecosystems. The company’s structure mirrors her worldview: organizations thrive when strategy and humanity are designed together.

Two Sectors, One Philosophy

On the consulting side, Boreal works with organizations across continents to build leadership frameworks, strengthen human strategy, and guide cultural transformation. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience—including senior roles at Procter & Gamble and Nestlé—Morales brings both corporate rigor and deep empathy to her work.

Her approach blends executive coaching, HR strategy, and facilitation methods such as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, helping leaders navigate complexity, ambiguity, and growth with clarity. Clients credit Boreal with measurable impact, from stronger leadership pipelines to significant reductions in attrition by aligning culture with behavior.

But Boreal’s story does not stop in the boardroom.

Coffee as a Living System

In parallel, Morales has built a specialty coffee operation that carries both historical weight and future ambition. In 2025, Boreal completed its own coffee benefit—marking the first generation in over 200 years of coffee growers in her ecosystem to control the entire end-to-end process, from plantation to roast.

This vertical integration is not just operational; it is ecological. The coffee project actively contributes to biodiversity, environmental balance, and local resilience. Evaluated by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the brand achieved specialty-grade status—an important milestone for quality and credibility.

The coffee itself, named Emilia, is a tribute to women. With sales set to begin in 2026, the brand stands as both a commercial product and a cultural statement: honoring women’s work, heritage, and leadership in agricultural systems that have long depended on them, often invisibly.

“For me, leadership is about coherence—between what we say, what we build, and the impact we leave behind,” Morales has shared.

Recognition and Responsibility

In 2023, Morales received the Global Women in Business and Leadership Award from the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade (GCPIT), recognizing not only her professional achievements but her cross-sector influence.

What distinguishes her leadership is restraint rather than spectacle. Boreal is not chasing scale for its own sake. Instead, it is intentionally designing systems—organizational and agricultural—that can endure.

A New Definition of Growth

Dafne Morales represents a new generation of women leaders who refuse to choose between intellect and intuition, profit and purpose, strategy and soil. Through Boreal Business Group, she is showing that sustainable growth is not about doing more, faster—but about doing things fully, consciously, and with accountability.

In leadership consulting and in coffee farming, her work carries the same message: when people, ecosystems, and values are aligned, growth becomes meaningful—and lasting.
