Starting Up with Confidence and Resourcefulness

Yes, as a woman entrepreneur myself- the most important lesson I had was to start- even when you don't have the right team, even when you don't have resources- do not wait for the right time as there's none.  Apart from that, you must:  Believe in yourself: One of the biggest challenges faced by women entrepreneurs is self-doubt. It's important to believe in yourself and your abilities, and to have confidence in your ideas.  Don't be afraid to take risks: Starting a business can be scary, but it's important to take risks in order to succeed. Don't let fear hold you back from pursuing your dreams.  Build a strong support system: Surround yourself with people who believe in you and support your goals. This can be friends, family, mentors, or other entrepreneurs.  Learn from failure: Failure is inevitable, but it's also an opportunity to learn and grow. Don't let setbacks discourage you. Use them as a chance to reflect on what went wrong and how you can do better next time.  Stay focused and persistent: Starting a business takes time and hard work. Stay focused on your goals and keep working towards them, even when things get tough.  Seek out resources and advice: There are many resources available for women entrepreneurs, such as networking groups, mentorship programs, and business incubators. Take advantage of these resources and seek out advice from other entrepreneurs who have been through the process before.

Boldness in Entrepreneurial Endeavours

I love being an entrepreneur! I have founded four companies in my life. I think it runs in some people’s blood. I always tell women if you have a desire to create something- give it a try! Be bold in your endeavours. Listen to the calling. People often think to be an entrepreneur, you must secure guaranteed success. But it’s a mindset, and if you prepare for failure at the forefront, you can get past the fear of taking that first step.

Passion and Nurturing in Business Creation

YES! Don't let go of your dreams to build something!! But, you absolutely must have a deep passion for the business you seek to create! A business becomes an extension of you - and if you are to build it with a strong and unbreakable foundation, it is consistently in your thoughts, you should not ever cut corners, and you must always give it the strongest priority in your life. It's like planting a flower - you must nurture it, water it (and some say talk to it!) to ensure growth. And then, once you have built your business, you must sustain it by continuing to nurture it. I always say that business ownership is not for the weak of heart - but you will inevitably find success if you want it and dream it often - and, if you are truly passionate about the work that you do through your business!
