Embrace Resilience and Seek Guidance

Marryrich. Don't do it! Resilience is the key to success. As women we are built more emotional which wears us down. Dont take the set backs personal.  Move past them and win. If you get stuck hire a coach and take their advice.

Gina LeBlanc, Founder, Lock Trust, Inc.

Commitment to Continuous Effort

The biggest secret to having a successful company is showing up every day. If you are working on plans to start your own business, you still have to show up and do the work in your current role. If you are full-time at your own company, it’s critical to show up and do the work. You can’t give up, no matter how hard it gets. If this is your dream, your vision, don’t give up. Be smart about your choices, but don’t give up! You will inevitably face moments in which you fail or lose. Turn those failures and losses into lessons. Then get up, brush yourself off, and keep moving forward. No matter how slow the progress, keep moving forward. One day, you will look back and 25 years have passed. You built something you can be proud of—because you showed up.

Michelle D'Attilio, Founder, Sosh, LLC

Persistence and Courage

Keep fighting, everything you set your mind to can be achieved. Women are perseverant and fighters, we have a lot of courage and we do not give up easily. A phrase that inspires me and I like very much says "The saddest thing is not to do something and fail, but to fail for not having tried", that is why we must eliminate the word fail from our vocabulary.

María Renilla Villalta, Founder, Hamon

Persistence for Change

Just be persistent to drive change

Priti Agarwal, Founder, Billabong High International School

Persistence and Networking

Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. You must be willing to work hard, work hard to strengthen existing relationships with partners and clients while also networking to meet and work with more and new individuals. Most importantly, don’t stop at the first “No” you hear. Keep asking and refining your pitch until you find that hard earned “Yes”.

Erika (Lohmar) Kulovitz, Founder, akire productions

Preparation and Support

For young women embarking on a journey in entrepreneurship, my advice is to believe in your abilities and the innovative ideas you bring to the table. Before starting a business, ensure thorough preparation by doing your homework. While self-doubt may arise, it is crucial to recognize your capacity for remarkable achievements. Perseverance is key; even amidst challenges, only your persistence yields significant rewards! Surround yourself with a supportive network comprising mentors, peers, and advocates who provide guidance and encouragement. Your distinct perspective serves as an invaluable asset, distinguishing you in your field. Partner with individuals who offer diverse expertise in all aspects important for your company's success. Though obstacles may arise, resilience and assertiveness in articulating your needs will propel you forward. Essential for maintaining a competitive edge are continual learning and adaptability. Furthermore, it is important to acknowledge and celebrate achievements, regardless of their scale, as they serve as fuel for continued progress. While the journey may present challenges, it also presents abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth, guided by your vision and determination. You possess the capability to navigate this path successfully.

Sandra Rieger, Founder, Avantyx, LLC

Industry Resilience

As a female business owner in the administrative support services sector of the home care industry, I've encountered a variety of challenges on my journey to where I am today. One significant obstacle I faced was breaking into a traditionally male-dominated industry and establishing credibility and trust among clients and partners. Additionally, navigating the complexities of the home care sector, including ever-evolving regulations and compliance standards, presented its own set of challenges. Balancing the need to stay up-to-date with industry trends while effectively managing day-to-day operations required perseverance and dedication. Moreover, building a successful business from the ground up demanded resilience in the face of setbacks and failures. Learning to adapt to unexpected changes, whether in the market or within my own organization, was crucial to overcoming these obstacles and continuing to grow. Through determination, hard work, and a commitment to providing exceptional service, I've been able to overcome these challenges and establish Home Care Admin Experts as a trusted partner in the industry. Each obstacle I've encountered has provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth, ultimately shaping me into the business owner I am today.

Natalie Valdes, Founder, Home Care Admin Experts

Persistence in Adversity

Never give up, whatever the situation is. Might be something you will feel comfortable and leftover but it’s fine continue your journey

Tanya Raj, Founder, Ficuslot Innovation Pvt Ltd

Strength and Support

Again and again, I'm asked this, and the answer will remain the same: BE STRONG.  Support yourself, foster solid relations with other women and be generous with your material wealth with your supporters, be it friends, family or your staff. Save for a rainy day and keep your finances in order! Impact as many lives as you can.

Mona Jalota, Founder, Krypton Global Investments

Never Give Up

Do not give up. There have been so many mountains to climb along the way but I never give up and I accept the trials and tribulations along the way. You can do it!

Jessica Spencer, Founder, Little Paws Pet Services

Embrace Resilience

BE RESILENT
