Stand by Mission and Values

It is one of the hardest but most rewarding things you will ever do in your life. Do not worry about what other people are doing and think- worry about your own mission and values. Continue to stand by those mission and values and the money will come. Always do the right thing.

Melissa Pashko, Founder, Jade Street Consulting, Inc.

Collaborate, Respect Yourself

I would like to tell them that it is never too late, that you can always do more and give more, but be careful, always being faithful to your intuition and heart and not at the cost of anything, respecting yourself and your life, first and foremost. Looking at your colleagues and working collaboratively is one of the best things you can do: "The growth of one is the growth of all."It is never too late to undertake and do and always giving 100% of oneself with love and creativity.

Jessica Ratcliffe, Founder, DOMO

Stay True to Values

Take all advice from business mentors and experts with a pinch of salt, stay true to your values, stay true to your word, do good work, be kind to everything you come across.

Deirdre Young, Founder, H&G Creations ltd

Self-Care and Network

Be observant and pay attention to details from the beginning. Always protect yourself, you will face more challenges than any man who tries to do the same thing you are proposing. The corporate world can be especially cruel to intellectual and courageous women. Ensure your physical and mental safety comes first. The journey can become more arduous than you expect and catch you in moments of vulnerability. Create or maintain a support network of other women you trust nearby. Share love and braveness S2.

Maria Marianno Gonçalves, Founder, Colégio Cassiano Ricardo Anglo

Lead with Integrity

Some heartfelt advice:

1. Dream Big, Stay Focused: Know what you want and keep your eyes on the prize, no matter what. For me, envisioning GlobalFair's impact on the global market kept me going through tough times.

2. Find Your Tribe: Surround yourself with mentors, friends, and supporters who believe in you. When we started, the guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs and the encouragement from my team were invaluable.

3. Roll with the Punches: Entrepreneurship is like riding a rollercoaster; there are thrilling highs and stomach-churning lows. But each setback is a chance to learn and grow stronger. I can't count how many times we stumbled before nailing our winning formula.

4. Never Stop Learning!

5. Think Global, Act Local: Our journey started with a vision to revolutionize the global construction materials market. But it was our ability to understand and adapt to local nuances that truly made us stand out.

6. Lead with Heart: In a cutthroat industry, staying true to our values set us apart. Our commitment to fair trade and sustainable practices resonated with partners and customers alike. Remember, entrepreneurship is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. Stay authentic, stay passionate, and never lose sight of why you started in the first place.

Shaily Garg, Founder, GlobalFair Impex

Value Your Product

Believe in your self! And surround yourself with people who make you feel like you can do it! A more practical advice is: Don't give away your products for free. If someone around you say they want to support you as a founder - the best support they can give is by buying your product. At Ludenso, we have also seen that when doing pilots for free, we don't get the right decision makers or the ones with budget responsibilities onboard, making it much harder to convert the pilots afterwards. There is also a psychological effect when people pay, even just a small amount, that they need to test your product more and take it more seriously. So often the pilots are much more successful when they have bought into it from the start.

diversity in your team; nurture innovation within your team. Stay passionate about your vision, recognising each entrepreneurial journey is unique—embrace challenges, celebrate victories, and commit to lifelong learning for sustained growth.

Ingrid Skrede, Founder, Ludenso
