In a marketplace crowded with tactics, tools, and noise, many organizations struggle not because they lack ideas — but because their efforts are disconnected. Jess Koscher has built her career solving that exact problem.

Based in Elkhart, Indiana, Koscher is the founder and CEO of Write Connections | strategy + design, LLC., a strategy and design consultancy launched in 2019. The firm works with businesses, nonprofits, municipalities, and community-driven organizations to replace fragmented marketing with aligned systems — combining strategy, branding, communication, and team development into ecosystems built to scale.

Strategy Before Style

Koscher’s philosophy is clear: marketing without strategy is noise. Write Connections doesn’t execute “random acts of marketing.” Instead, it acts as what the firm calls Connection Architects — designing clarity across leadership, messaging, culture, and execution.

That approach is rooted in Koscher’s two-decade career in community leadership and nonprofit management. Before launching Write Connections, she held senior leadership roles across United Way, economic development organizations, and public-sector initiatives, where results depended on trust, alignment, and long-term thinking — not trends.

The result is work that feels grounded and effective. From brand systems and websites to strategic plans and strengths-based coaching, Write Connections helps organizations move from overwhelmed to intentional — and from intention to action.

“Brilliant ideas fail every day because they’re poorly communicated,” Koscher has said. “My work is about helping people be understood — by their teams, their communities, and the people they serve.”

Leadership Recognised Across Sectors

Koscher’s impact has earned consistent recognition. She was inducted into the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame (2025) and received the Thomas I. Atkins Minority Business Leader Award. She has also been named Woman of the Year by the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, a Top International Woman Entrepreneur, and a recipient of the Business Diversity Award.

Yet her leadership remains community-first. Alongside running Write Connections, Koscher continues long-standing public service work, serving on boards and advisory councils focused on economic development, inclusion, and social impact.

A Human-Centred Measure of Success

For Jess Koscher, growth is not just about scale — it’s about alignment. Businesses succeed, she believes, when strategy supports people, not the other way around.

In an era obsessed with speed and automation, her work is a reminder that clarity, intention, and connection remain the most powerful growth strategies of all.
