Stay Resilient and Passionate
Yes! Understand that there are many hurdles in entreprenuership and you must be resilient. Being passionate about what you do will propel you through the hard times. Have a support system of men and women who can strengthen your resolve when needed. Being a female entrepreneur is fantastic - it provides the opportunity to juggle your life while following your passion. It’s very fulfilling and rewarding.
Kelly Cooper, Founder, Centre for Social Intelligence Inc.
Learn from Setbacks and Network
Emphasize resilience and maintain unwavering belief in your vision. Setbacks are inevitable, but they offer valuable lessons. Learn from them and adapt your strategies. Build a diverse and supportive network of peers and mentors who can offer guidance and encouragement along the way. Surrounding yourself with a strong team is crucial for success. Never underestimate the importance of continuous learning. Stay curious, seek new knowledge, and embrace opportunities for growth.

Push Through Challenges and Doubts
The best advice is to keep going and believe in what you can do. The hardest part of entrepreneurship is preserving when you hit dead ends or failures. But failures and mistakes will happen. You have to be able to push through to create the business you have been dreaming about. This is particularly challenging as a young entrepreneur when many people, especially older generations, question you and think you should be working in a corporate job. This is something I faced a lot, but once you learn to have a solid response to any of these doubt-filled questions, they will start to believe in you, too. You know why you are starting your business and see where it can go, or you wouldn’t be doing it. So, remember that. Remember your “why” and let it shine through in everything you do. Your story, confidence, and perseverance will help you through this journey. My other piece of advice is to find online or in-person communities. Have people you can turn to for referrals you feel confident in, advice, and camaraderie during the hard days. Other entrepreneurs get what you are going through, even if they are in different industries, and it makes a world of difference when you have other entrepreneurs behind you to support you at every step.

Innovate Despite Naysayers
Perseverance is the key! People will say that it is impossible, but innovation and creativity, the world-changing processes come from not allowing the nay-sayers to knock you out of the journey. It is never easy, but it is worth the journey to innovate and knock the standard out of the way when it is standing in the way of more equitable and better processes!
