Confidence and Patience

Our biggest piece of advice for women at any stage of their entrepreneurial journey is to prioritize personal development, conscious communication and regular therapy, if you have the resources to do so. Devoting time and energy to do the hard work on yourself will pay dividends in the long run as you set yourself up to navigate conflict, difficult relationships and key business decisions with grace.

We attribute the success of CLEARSTEM to our commitment to going to weekly therapy as co-founders. Working on our relationship to one another has been pivotal for open communication, decision making, and growing as individuals and as a business entity. It's a game changer for the entire business, for us as people, and for our team dynamic.

Kayleigh Christina and Danielle Gronich, Founder, CLEARSTEM Skincare

Focus on Controllable Factors

Burn your bridges! Don't leave yourself a way out so that the only way to go is forward. You gotta be all in.

Kathy Wilson, Founder, Suitcase Records

Go All In, No Exit

For those who want to be entrepreneuers, my advice would be if you have an idea - give it a try and take a chance on yourself! I never thought I would be running my own business and until I by taking a chance on myself, I have been able to help SMBs with keeping their websites secured and giving them that peace of mind that we all want as owners.

Jamie Alcala, Founder, Marathon Hosting

Persist Through Adversity

Always speak for yourself, if you won't then nobody would and be confident in yourself.

Sara Shaikh, Founder, Palmier AI

No Shortcuts, Keep Hustling

My advise would be to be persistent. Don't give up, but be open to pivoting.

Jamie Spann, Founder, Business Savvy Physician

Embrace the Hustle

Trust the process and accept the fact that you will never feel ready. After working for years with a small business owner and seeing my own friends open their own businesses, I thought I was very clear on what it meant to be an entrepreneur before I became one. Oh how wrong I was! When it is your own money, time and risk: there is nothing that truly prepares you for taking that leap. I never felt 'ready' and many days I still don't. Trust in yourself, your passion, and your skills by knowing deep inside of you that you will figure it out. No matter what happens, you will get there. That will keep you going on the hardest days.

Courtney Gioia, Founder, Loyobo Fit

Persevere Through Adversity

Yes, always keep your head up and persevere through all adversity.

Connie Henderson Lindsay, Founder, Liberty Manor for Veterans, Inc.

Never Give Up

Keep going.

Sonia Gurtata, Founder, Lawyerup
