Resourcefulness and Resilience in Entrepreneurship

Yes, I mentor a number of young women, and I always tell them that they need to fight for the life they want. They need to be resourceful, resilient, and fearless. They cannot let anything or anyone get in their head. I also try to help them understand that everyone's journey is so different, and they have to put some trust in the universe when things feel like they are falling apart because that will more often than not be a blessing in disguise.  It is simple: if you believe in yourself and what you want to do, you need to get in your head that you will stop at nothing to make it happen... and then you have to DO IT. Network with other women who will generally want to help you. Always keep track of introductions and make sure to give people a commission for any booked business. I still have never spent a dime on marketing because my company has grown 100% from word-of-mouth and referrals. I commission 10-15% for any booked business, so instead of hiring a sales team, I have all my clients acting as my sales team, and because of the relationships my clients have with their clients, my close rate is 95%.

Resilience and Defining Success

A lot of people will tell you that you can't, but do it anyway. Fall, trip, get back up. Fall again, rise again. Only you truly know what success means to you so go get it.

Hard Work and Overcoming Challenges for Success

There is no easy way to success, no shortcuts, no one will ever give you anything for free. You have to work hard and slowly work your way up. You will one day look back and realize how far you have come. Challenges will show up every day and everyday we must be ready to overcome them. Never let yourself be in a place of comfort because when we grow the most is when we get out of our comfort zone. Any dream is achievable. You just have to keep your eyes focused on your goals.
