Don't shy away from difficult situations; instead, tackle them head-on with a positive mindset and determination.  Define Your Success: Success isn't a one-size-fits-all concept. Women's Unique Problem-Solving Approach

Go for it! (or stick with it if you are already doing it). Women don’t usually have the loudest voices in the room, but are able to champion multiple perspectives in their problem solving. For instance, when faced with a challenge they will find a solution that solves the problem and do it in a way that is good for business AND employees AND the customer. This win-win-win approach creates a multiplying effect on the value they provide across industries.  The problem is this multiplying effect isn’t always acknowledged or rewarded by most companies. Learning from Experience and Removing Self-Imposed Limits

Before diving into the world of lingerie my background was the entertainment industry. I danced and sang for household names and whilst not directly entrepreneurial, those entertainment days taught me a thing or two about branding, marketing, standing out and making a mark! Leadership and Collaboration in Business

Believe in yourself. Trust your own judgement while seeking evidence and opinion from around you. Keep learning - always. Stay humble, no one likes arrogance (and it is different to confidence). Realise you won't be able to do this on your own. You need a great team around you. Allow others to come up with answers, it can't always be your idea.   Only tell the truth if the people you are telling can handle the truth (we are all biassed and make unfair judgements).  Find allies and co-create the answers with other great people.

Principles of Effective Leadership

For young women venturing into entrepreneurship or already navigating the entrepreneurial landscape leading people for the first time may seem daunting, but with the right mindset and approach, this challenge can be conquered.  A fundamental aspect of effective leadership, as I have learned, is leading by example. Modelling the values and behaviours you expect from your team establishes a culture of accountability and mutual respect. If you desire punctuality and preparedness, demonstrate these qualities by being on time and well-prepared for meetings.  This approach not only sets the right tone but also builds trust and credibility with your team. When they witness your commitment to hard work and accountability, they are more likely to follow suit and regard you with respect as a leader.  Therefore, my advice to aspiring and emerging leaders is to embody the qualities you would seek in a leader. Stay true to your values, lead by example, and remain open to continuous learning and growth. Dedication and hard work will pave the way for you to become an effective and respected leader who inspires your team to achieve remarkable things.
