Start and Succeed

It's not difficult. It's all about getting started. We can do as well in corporate in leadership position as we have been doing for decades at home.

Take the Plunge

One of the biggest tips I would say is to get plugged into the startup community as early as you possibly can, even before starting your company. I have learned so much from other founders, investors, partners, etc. by technology would catch up.

Jane Maine, Founder, Contenta Meetings & Events

Embrace Authenticity and Responsibility

Understanding, authenticity, commitment and responsibility. You have to understand the need and meet it uniquely with thoughtfully crafted solutions. The "why" should be authentic and personal. Your customers will recognize it and it's that sincere desire that pushes you through challenges, which are inevitable. Like race car drivers,  entrepreneur's have to remain focused and committed the entire time. The moment doesn't build character, it reveals it, so do your best and when you don't, acknowledge it and do better. Finally when challenges arise, you are responsible. That's not an assignment of blame, but rather an acknowledgement that YOU are Able to respond. Don't waste time and energy suffering your expectations, be consciously in that moment and meet it rationally.

Dr. Angela Casey, Founder, Bright Girl by Angela Casey M.D.

Own Yourself and Engage with Customers

Own who you are, double down on yourself, and stay the course! Get outside of your four walls and in front of customers to realize your dream.

Amanda Sabreah, Founder, Thought Factory

Stay Authentic and Avoid Scarcity Mindset

There is room for everyone, especially YOU!  Stay authentic, avoid a scarcity mindset, continue to learn, and focus on what you love!

Be True to Yourself

Don’t try and be anyone else. The greatest asset you have as a business owner is being your true self. Everyone else will tell you to be more like them. Your success is dependent on how much you are able to live your truth.

Believe in Yourself and Embrace Challenges

To all the young women out there aspiring to be entrepreneurs or already on their entrepreneurial journey, I would share the following advice:

1. Believe in yourself: Trust your instincts and have faith in your abilities. Don't let anyone else's doubts or stereotypes dictate your path. Believe in your vision and work tirelessly to turn it into reality.

2. Embrace Challenges: Entrepreneurship is not easy, but every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Embrace difficulties as learning experiences and use them to become stronger and more resilient.

3. Seek Knowledge and Experience: Never stop learning and exploring new opportunities. Whether it's through formal education, hands-on experience, or networking with others in your field, continuously seek to expand your knowledge and skills.

4. Stay True to Your Values: In the fast-paced world of business, it's easy to lose sight of your values. However, staying true to your principles and ethics is crucial for long-term success and fulfillment.

5. Be Resilient: Entrepreneurship is full of ups and downs, but it's important to remain resilient in the face of adversity. Learn from setbacks, adapt to challenges, and keep pushing forward with determination and perseverance.Remember, as a young woman in business, you have the power to break barriers, challenge norms, and make a positive impact in the world. Stay focused, stay determined, and never lose sight of your dreams. You are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.

Shraddha Mantri, Founder, Shubh Estate

View Challenges as Opportunities

Being an entrepreneur is a mindset, you have to see things and  events as opportunities at all times. You will get a lot of no's, but all you need is one yes.

Passion and Excellence Drive Success

Love what you do, and do it well. When you're passionate about your work, it doesn't feel like an obligation. Your enthusiasm will drive you to overcome challenges and keep going, even when you face obstacles. Focus on doing your best in everything you do, and success will follow. Remember, passion and excellence go hand in hand on the path to entrepreneurship.
