Advice

One of the most important pieces of advice I would share with aspiring or early-stage women founders is to start with the work you genuinely care about and allow your business to evolve from there. My own journey began in 1999 as a product representative with Creative Memories, where I discovered how meaningful it was to help people preserve their family photographs and stories.

What began as a passion gradually grew into a professional service and eventually into my own company, Fleur de Lis Organized Solutions, LLC.

I would also encourage women founders to listen carefully to their clients. Some of the most important developments in my business came from recognizing patterns in what clients truly needed. While I originally focused on photo organization,

I realized many clients were also overwhelmed by decades of accumulated belongings in their homes. Listening to those needs led to expanding services and ultimately rebranding the company to better serve clients.

Another important lesson is to value the relational skills that many women naturally bring to entrepreneurship—empathy, listening, and trust-building. In service-based businesses especially, those qualities are not secondary to success; they are the foundation of it.

Finally, be patient with the process.

Building a business often happens gradually through persistence, adaptability, and continuous learning. What begins as a small idea can grow into a meaningful enterprise that not only supports your livelihood but also makes a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Advice

Challenges will always find those who strive to reach and stay on top - accept this and manage each situation with grace, remaining steadfast and true to your core values of honesty, transparency and punctuality. Talk to and liaise with your tried and trusted team regularly.

Innovation drives the now, not tomorrow - look for and find gaps in the market, education and industry and explore creativity, allowing your imagination to set your visions and dreams, free. Be original and create and invent new ideas with brainstorming sessions and stick to a solid work ethic.

Always be grateful - even for the smallest success or victory.

Astra Fox – Stop waiting until you feel ready ~ your pain is the soil from which your divine gifts grow and heal the world.

Advice

Stop waiting until you feel ready ~ your pain is the soil from which your divine gifts grow and heal the world. The experiences that broke you open are not liabilities, they are the very foundation of your Creative Alchemy. The world does not need a polished, perfect version of you ~ it needs your real medicine, shared boldly and unapologetically.

You are a Thriving Creator in the making. Rewrite the beliefs that tell you your dreams are too big, your gifts too niche, or your creativity just a hobby. It is not. Your creativity is a tool for transformation ~ and the world becomes more harmonious every time one more person chooses to live on purpose and share their gifts freely.

Stop hiding your medicine. The world is ready for all of you.

Miriam Malak – Make sure to keep networking and getting to know others in your industry.
