Embrace Grit and Learn Broadly

Yes! It's going to be really hard, just expect that! You have to have grit because you will get knocked down a lot and will often think it's not going to work out. But put your big girl panties on and get over it. There's no time for babies and always remember "success is often nearest when defeat seems inescapeable." -B.C. ForbesAlso, you have to learn to work in areas that are not your strengths. You will work in your strength center but as an entrepreneur you have to learn to do a little of everything even though you try to hire out for a lot of it. Also, fire fast when things are not working and build a group of people you like to work with and you feel dedicated to. Try to get them to feel dedicated to the mission of your company, no one will be as dedicated as you but it’s great when people drink the Cool-Aid.

Share your dream loud and proud....with determination and hard work, you will achieve. Learn from the experts and remember there is no 'I' in TEAM!

Overcoming Fear with Inner Strength

Listen to your inner voice, always. When I was opening my company, I had so much fear and stress because everything was unstable— the situation in my home country, the situation in my family, and not having enough funds to live if I failed. But at that time, only my inner voice was telling me, 'You are a survivor; you can do this.' So when it comes to adrenaline, there is no place for fear. You have to listen to your inner voice and power, and be guided by that. Believe that you are strong, and you can do anything you want, whether you are doing it in your home country or abroad.

Stella Simonian, Founder, ESTA Educational Consultancy

Congratulating and Perseverance

To young women entrepreneurs I would say first and foremost congratulations for making a bold and empowered choice. I would followup with saying that when you face hardship (which is inevitable) take a moment to regroup, recover and then keep going.

Erin Judd, Founder, No Frames

Patience in Building a Business

Most businesses do not start off making tons of money. You have to be ready to put in the time to build your business and not get discouraged.

Corinne Auman, Founder, Choice Care Navigators

Authenticity and Hard Work

Be true to yourself and your nice. Never take no for an answer and diligently work to make things happen. There is absolutely no substitute for hardwork.

Sanjana Kapur Bansal, Founder, Dream Energy Solutions

Reward of Belief and Hard Work

This is a difficult road with high hurdles, but when you truly believe in what you are doing it's all worth the hardships to see your ideas come to life. There is no better feeling than when we get a letter from a customer who truly loves our product.
